What is a Doula?

A doula is your personalized support person who embodies all things "life transforming." A doula is there to reassure your heart and ease your mind as you flow through the waves of change on your path. Studies show that when a woman or person has a doula for support through pregnancy and birth, there is a healthier outcome for all. This is a massive shift back into the ancient ways of mothering the mother. May we remember the gifts of birthing the new life of our future ancestors while honoring the impact of releasing a soul back to earth. In the grieving experiences of loss, whether chosen or not, having a doula can bring radical healing to your heart and body which can have lasting effects in life.

Radical Doula Services include and are not limited to:

Preconception, Pregnancy, and Birth Support:

~creating a birth plan

~discussing doctor/midwife appointments or freebirth support

~meeting with family/partner for prenatal support

~labor and delivery preparation

~resources and recommendations

~holistic herbal support (teas and herbal/flower baths)

~postpartum preparation and support

~postpartum Yoni Steaming and herbal support

~newborn care and lactation support

*Virtual Doula: ongoing support and communication and on call from 37 weeks on for virtual calls, phone/video calls, text messages

*Local: ongoing in person and optional virtual support until 37 weeks, then will be on call to attend your birth!

Pregnancy Release support and healing:

~physical and emotional support leading up to, during and after experience of pregnancy release

~herbal tools and energetic healing to to support you

~follow up and ongoing check in for support up to 3 months (can add on additional support)

Note: Leah recognizes that birth can be spontaneous and sometimes requires medical interventions. No matter which route you and your baby take to get here, Leah will be your anchor in the sea of the Great Primordial Womb to support you birthing your baby into this world with Love.

Leah will stay up to 4 hours post birth

Sacred Transition Pregnancy Release

Virtual or local Virginia Support

This path includes virtual and optional in person support leading up to the pregnancy release experience or support after the finding out of pregnancy loss, and immediately after.

Support includes two 1-hour virtual calls to prepare for release experience if known

- 2 hours of immediate virtual support after finding out about the loss or after the release.

-2 hour calls on day 1, 3, and 6 for supportive integration and healing

-Options for Reiki healing online (no extra fee)

-Options for Yoni Steaming and herbal teas to clear and close energy

Biweekly virtual 1 hour session support for 2 months.

Note: IN PERSON- Local support can be discussed and will consist of the Virtual support plus in home visit and/or attendance for support.

-Bi-Weekly home visit for month 1 and then bi-weekly follow up virtually for month 2

I am already a Reiki Practitioner or Master, would these trainings benefit me?

Absolutely, Leah is a Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher who specializes in traditional Usui/Holy Fire Reiki. Holy Fire Reiki is a sacred form of Reiki that was initiated into the lineage under the International Center for Reiki Training. This method works with non-touch attunements so there is no interference from the Master's energy with the energy coming from the Universe. At Ancestral Reiki Doula, Leah respects all Reiki lineages and knows that when we continue to receive upgrades and teachings, our connections and energies grow stronger.
